Postgraduate International Programs
China Scholarship Council
The China Scholarship Council (CSC) is a Chinese government agency that offers scholarships to provide high quality education and research training to qualified Chinese students with the aim of developing research collaborations between the Chinese Universities and Institutions abroad. CSC will provide the admitted students under this program with standard living allowances as determined by the Chinese government (which include international student health insurance, visa application fees and round trip airfare).
There are two subprograms related to postgraduate education:
(a) Building leading universities program - Doctoral (PhD) and visiting PhD
(b) Innovation joint cultivation program - Master’s and Doctoral (PhD)
University Conference Fund Program
Full-time registered postgraduate students are eligible to apply for a Conference Fund Grant. The conference fund is intended to support high-level international conferences, short-term visiting and academic competitions.
Summer School
Summer school is a significant channel for top-class universities to provide educational service and an important platform for academic exchanges. Started in 2007, Graduate Summer School strive to create an international atmosphere, increase internationalized features, improve individualized development of graduate students and enhance international competitiveness through an array of activities, including internationalized curriculums, lectures of distinguished professors from home and abroad, academic exchanges and social practice. Summer School has made deep collaboration with Total Professor Association. Currently, there are four subprograms:
(a) Oil and Gas Resources
(b) Chemistry and Processing
(c) Energy Finance
(d) Translation and Interpreting
Double Degree Program
CUPB currently offers 5 Double Degree Programs in partnership with other universities.
