Energy Supply Chain (ESC)
Mission and ambition
The ESC group has the ambition to provide analytical and operational support to oil, gas and power industry through management of supply chain from fuel procurement to end users. Our members research the basic theories and applications about design, analysis, and operating strategies used in energy supply chain. Our current research areas include: supply network design and optimization, procurement decision making, risk assessment and management, green supply chain, and low carbon supply chain.
Our research is based on a combination of mathematical modeling, data collection and analysis methods, input-output analysis, multi-criteria decision making methods, optimization algorithms, game theory, and the application of simulation software, optimization software and modeling tools.
