GexCon’s CEO Sturle Harald Pedersen Visits CUP to Enhance Ties
GexCon’s CEO Sturle Harald Pedersen and its president of Greater China Xie Bin visited CUP on Nov. 3, 2014 and singed the cooperation agreement with our university. CUP’s President Laibin Zhang, directors from the International Office and the College of Mechanical and Transportation Engineering attended the meeting.
This agreement mainly contains the following contents: information sharing and regular communication; jointly organizing seminar and training in the field of safety and risk prevention; GexCon provides technology consultation and service for CUP.
President Laibin Zhang introduced the development history, distinguished features and preponderant disciplines of our university. He addressed that the cooperation with GexCon would stimulate the rapid development of CUP in the field of safety engineering. Mr. Pedersen also presented some basic information about GexCon. He believed both sides would achieve mutual benefits after this preliminary cooperation and hoped to promote further collaboration with our university on the basis of the agreement.
