MSc in Thermal Energy Engineering

 
Objectives
This program aims to provide students with a sound theoretical basis and a thorough professional knowledge of thermal engineering. It assists students to develop a rigorous scientific approach, pioneering spirit and strict academic morality.
Upon completion of the program, students are expected to:
1.       Be familiar with the current situation and the development trend of Thermal Engineering and the frontier of international academic research in this field. 
2.       Understand and analyze issues related to both theoretical and practical aspect of Thermal Engineering. Thus be able to solve problems in real practice.
3.       Be qualified for teaching, research or technical management in the subject area of Thermal Engineering or some other relevant areas.
4.       Have a good command of a foreign language and obtain the necessary competency in writing and international communication.

Graduation & Degree Requirements
Students are required to complete a minimum of 30 credits for graduation.
 
Career prospects
Most of our graduates filled responsible positions relating to thermal energy engineering in petroleum institutions. Some graduates pursue further studies.
