Interpretation of depositional setting by integration of outcrop descriptions, core studies and subsurface analysis, including siliciclastic rocks and carbonates.

Relationship of diagenesis to porosity, permeability, and other petrophysical properties of oil and gas reservoirs.
Controls of sequence stratigraphic framework, sedimentary environment, detrital grain composition and diagenetic alterations on reservoir quality.
establishment of reservoir geological model by integration of data on structure, facies and petrophysical properties.
