On March 4, Associate Prof. Zhou Bing of Geoscience Department at Khalifa University and Mr. Abdulla AI Hanibi of Student Recruitment and Administration Office at Khalifa University, United Arab Emirates, visited CUPB.
The delegation of the UAE had a meeting with CUPB. Zhan Yali ( Vice Dean of Graduate School), Lu Shang (Vice Director of International Department), and the heads of relevant colleges and departments participated in the meeting. Lu Shang warmly welcomed the delegation's visit. He expressed the hope that the meeting would further promote the cooperation between the two universities in postgraduate projects. Zhou Bing also said that one of the main objectives of the visiting was to further deepen the cooperation between the two sides in postgraduate projects and scientific research. At the meeting, the representatives of the two sides first briefly introduced the history, teaching and scientific research development of their respective universities. Subsequently, the representative of Khalifa University introduced the master programme, related scholarship, teaching and reaserch oppotunities in detail. Participants discussed and exchanged ideas among postgraduate, doctoral and undergraduate Exchange students.Finally, the two sides reached consensus on sending students, promoting exchanges and cooperation between teachers and students.
After the meeting, Associate Professor Zhou Bin and Mr. Abdulla AI Hanibi gave presentation to CUPB students. They introduced the Khalifa University and answered the questions from students.
