CUP hosted the “One Belt, One Road” Training Course on Chinese Proficiency for Dispatchers of PetroChina Amu Darya Gas Exploration and Development (Beijing) Co.

       On October 23rd, the “One Belt, One Road” Training Course on Chinese Proficiency for Dispatchers of PetroChina Amu Darya Gas Exploration and Development (Beijing) Co. hosted by PetroChina International Turkmenistan Company and organized by China University of Petroleum (Beijing), was held in Beijing, with the participation of 15 young key personnel from Turkmenistan.

       The training lasts for 5 months, and the training content is divided into three aspects. First, the systematic course aims to cultivate the trainees’ Chinese ability of intensive reading, reading, speaking, listening and writing, improve their oral skills of professional Chinese and scheduling work terms, and reduce communication barriers for Chinese and Turkish employees. Second, organize trainees to visit scenic spots and historic sites, as well as the Beijing City Hall, to learn about Chinese history and culture, and to personally experience the tremendous achievements of reform and opening up. Trainees visited well-known enterprises such as Jingdong and Beijing Petroleum Machinery Factory to experience the vigorous development of technological innovation and digital economy. Third, it guides interaction between trainees and trainees, and between trainees and lecturers, so as to strengthen cultural exchanges and mutual understanding, and to learn about the work status and experience of countries.

       Gapbarova Jahan, a trainee, said that he was very lucky to participate in this training and would cherish this opportunity, devote himself to learning Chinese and feeling Chinese culture, and contribute to the friendship between Turkmenistan and China.

       This year marks the 10th anniversary of the “the Belt and Road” initiative. Energy cooperation is a key area for the construction of the “the Belt and Road”. In recent years, CUP full play to the advantages of the platform of B&R Energy Cooperation Partner University (Youth) Leader Unit, constantly expanding the training channels for foreign talents of the “the Belt and Road” countries, and promoting understanding and cooperation through various forms of training.

       In the past 10 years, CUP has undertaken 169 training courses for countries along the “the Belt and Road”, with 4281 trainees. The training topics cover the whole industrial chain technology skills of petroleum and petrochemical industry, international energy strategy, comprehensive management, Chinese and other fields. The training effect has been unanimously recognized by the trainees and relevant government enterprises.
