Research
The applicant’s scientific interests are mainly focused on the chemical engineering, petroleum process, production of clean fuels and catalytic materials. In the past decades, we were interested in the processing optimization of hydrotreating technique, the design and development of novel hierarchically porous materials used as the catalysts or support additives for hydrodesulfurization (HDS), hydrodenitrogenation (HDN) and hydrodearomatization (HDA). The research areas in my group mainly include: (1) heavy oil processing; (2) ultra clean fuel production; (3) synthesis of new porous catalytic materials; (4) the diffusion and kinetics research of large macromolecules.
