Established in 2017, International Cooperation Education Center is the executive department of Online & Continuing Education School of China University of Petroleum-Beijing to implement additional enrollment programs of international cooperation education.

   Relying on the university's strong teaching advantage, the International Cooperation Education Center has organized a full-time and part-time teacher team who have overseas study background, high professional level and rich teaching experience. The center has a group of professional staffs who are familiar with the international talent cultivating mode, proficient in teaching management and student management services. It has formulated a series of documents such as "Center Management Manual", "Teaching Management Manual", "Student Management Manual", and set up a complete management system. All international cooperation education programs are carried out at Changping main campus of China University of Petroleum-Beijing. The beautiful campus environment and perfect teaching and living facilities provide students with good educational resources. At present, the three main programs are: SQA Advanced Diploma, Mokwon University of South Korea International Undergraduate Program, and European and American International Pre-study Program.

   SQA Advanced Diploma was introduced into China in 2003 by Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange with 46,000 graduates by 2018. As one of the 35 centers in China, our center mainly offers the majors of Business with Accounting, Business with Information Technology, Business with Marketing, Computer Software Development and Computer Networking and Internet Technology. This program adopts the original English textbooks, uses the English syllabus and examination papers, abides by the assessment and evaluation system of Scottish Qualifications Authority, and gradually transits from bilingual teaching to English teaching, so that students can enjoy the original English education mechanism at homeland and well prepare for studying abroad in the near future. After three years studying at China University of Petroleum-Beijing, students complete language reinforcement and more than 20 professional courses, they can go to corresponding universities in the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and many other countries, continue to study for one or two years, complete the follow-up courses of relevant majors in foreign colleges or universities, and apply for bachelor degree, or continue to study for master's degree after obtaining the bachelor degree. The degree can be certified by the Ministry of Education of China.

   The South Korea International Undergraduate Program is a joint program between our university and Mokwon University of South Korea. The program adopts the applying system to enroll, and students with senior high school diploma can be registered as full-time students after passing the entrance test of Mokwon University. This program offers two majors, Business and Animation Design. The students firstly study at China University of Petroleum-Beijing for one and a half year, complete Korean language intensive courses and first-year courses set up by Mokwon University. Then they go to South Korea to study at Mokwon University continuing professional courses for the rest three years. Those who are qualified receive the Bechalor degree of Mokwon University, which can be certified by the Ministry of Education of China.

   The European & American Pre-study Program is a high-quality pre-study class specially designed for senior high school graduates. It mainly offers English, Russian and German Pre-Study Programs. Students complete language reinforcement and some credit courses in our university during the period of six months to one year. Depending on their language achievements and personal wishes, they will continue to pursue undergraduate degrees in many developed countries, such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and so on. These overseas cooperative colleges or universities are all listed on the foreign regulatory website of the Ministry of Education of China. And the degrees obtained can be certified by the Ministry of Education of China.
