Postgraduates rewarded by Chinese Government Scholarship has reached a new high

Recently, China Scholarship Council (CSC) has published the awarding list of three 2015 scholarship programs and there are 70 CUPB awardees gained the support of CSC scholarship, reaching a new apex. Among the 70 awardees, 52 postgraduates will be awarded by Building Leading University Scholarship Program, with 37 joint cultivated doctoral candidates and 15 PhD degree candidates. Another 8 graduates will pursuing the Master degree in Russia. The Innovation Joint Cultivation Program will fund another 10 graduates, with one to Spain, six to Russia and three to Brazil. CUPB has accomplished the 2015 Chinese Scholarship programs successfully.   

The Scholarship programs extend a precious opportunity for CUPB to implement Going Global strategy, to enhance academic and research cooperation with top universities around the world and to establish world-class research university on energy studies.

Established in 2007 China Scholarship Council, a non-profit institution entrusted by the Chinese Government to manage the State Scholarship Fund. The Postgraduate Scholarship Program aims to improve the training of creative and distinguished postgraduates and enhance the development of China’s higher education. Over the past eight years, CSC sponsored each year up to eight thousand talented Chinese students for overseas study, pursuing doctoral degrees or conducting academic cooperation under joint-training programs at world-class universities.
