About self-study (no listening), exemption

Undergraduate students:

1. If there is a partial conflict in the class time of the courses studied, you can apply for self-study of one of the courses in the time of conflict..

2. Fill in the application form for self-study (no listening) (see Attachment:本科生自修(免听)申请表), and write clearly the reasons for application, such as: the specific time of conflict, the class cannot be attended at that time. Signed by the teacher.

3. Fill in two identical application forms. One copy should be given to the teacher and the other to the office of the college.

4. Self-study courses should complete the course homework, experiment, computer and other courses on time.

5. If you have passed HSK4 (written test 180 points or above) or above, you can apply for <Comprehensive Chinese> without listening.

6. If you have passed HSK5 (written test 180 points or above) or above, you can apply for < Senior Chinese > without listening.

7. Students should take no more than 3 self-study courses per semester.

 

Postgraduate students:

1. Students taught in Chinese who have passed HSK5 (written test 180 points or above) and above can apply for exemption from <100001 Chinese Language>.

2. Students taught in English who have passed HSK3 (written test 180 points or above) and above can apply for exemption from <100001 Chinese Language>.

3. Students who have studied <Brief Introduction Of China> or similar courses during undergraduate study may apply for exemption from <100003 Brief Introduction Of China>.

4. The above exemptions shall be applied in the postgraduate system, and the HSK score report, the transcript containing <Brief Introduction Of China> and other supporting materials shall be submitted in the attachment when applying.

5. The application time is at the beginning of each fall semester, around September.
