On September 30th, the delegation from South Sudan, including H.W. Stephen Wani Michael, Mayor of Juba City and Amb. Monday Semaya K. Kumba，Embassy of R.S.S. visited China University of Petroleum (Beijing).

South Sudan Delegation at first met with CUPB students from South Sudan and then attended the meeting hosted by Prof. Dong Zhaoxia, Vice President of China University of Petroleum (Beijing).

Attendees of the meeting includes Prof. Li Yongfeng, Director of International Office, Prof. Zhang Yongxue, Dean of College of International Education, Ms. Liu Xiaoqing, Vice Dean of College of International Education. 

During the meeting, Prof. Dong Zhaoxia extended her welcome to H.W. Stephen Wani and thanked him for his motivation to the cooperation between Juba City Council and China University of Petroleum (Beijing). She hoped that in the future the existing areas of collaboration between Juba City Council and China University of Petroleum (Beijing) could be extended. 

During the meeting, a brief introduction about China University of Petroleum (Beijing) was given to the delegation. South Sudan Delegation and CUPB discussed about enrollment and scholarships issue of students from Juba  and also the possibility of high education collaboration in Petroleum Engineering.
