At the same time, the counselors of the College of International Education also pay special attention to the thought of students, pay attention to the mental health development of students, and let students pay attention to live in harmony with their neighbors in the community.

During the home visit, the counselors also learned whether the electricity and gas used in the students' homes were standardized, and publicized the knowledge of fire control, traffic safety and epidemic prevention to the students.

In order to better implement the safety responsibility of students, the counselors of the College of International Education ask the students to sign the letter of responsibility for international students' off-campus accommodation and the letter of responsibility for international students' safety of China University of Petroleum (Beijing) during the home visit.

In this home visit, the counselors of the College of International Education visited 37 international students from ten countries, including Turkmenistan, Sudan, Yemen and Niger, by "telephone appointment and visiting one by one", so that each student can feel the care from the school.
