The College of International Education Team Won the 11th CUPB Campus Ironman Duathlon Competition

The 11th CUPB Campus Ironman Duathlon Competition was held on November 28, 2020. The athletes from the College of International Education won the first place in the overall score of the competition due to their strong fighting spirit and strength.

A total of 84 athletes from 13 colleges (institutes) have entered for the Ironman Duathlon event. The College of International Education sent 27 athletes from more than 10 countries, including Tanzania, South Sudan, Ghana and Venezuela. In the cold wind, students constantly challenge themselves, showing a strong fighting spirit.



After the final competition, AMUSA ISAAC from Ghana and KAMBI SAID JUMA from Tanzania won the second and fourth place respectively in the men's race in 13 minutes 44.89 seconds and 14 minutes 18.46 seconds. NDIMBO TUMAINI MANASE From Tanzania and OSEI BOAKYE NANCY PEARL from Ghana finished third and fourth in the women's biathlon in 20 minutes 49.38 and 30 minutes 02.51 seconds respectively. ADJEI BESTMAN BAFFOUR from Ghana won the "Iron Man Spirit Award".
