In accordance with the requirements of the Notice on Organizing the Academic Proficiency Examination for New undergraduate students to study in China issued by the Ministry of Education, our University plans to conduct the Academic Proficiency Examination for new undergraduate students to study in China in 2024. The specific details are hereby notified as follows:

1.Students Taking Part in the Examination

Undergraduate students who intend to apply for our university's undergraduate program (admission in September 2024).

2.Examination Subjects

The examination includes professional Chinese (Chinese Language in Liberal Arts, Chinese Language in Economics and Trade, Chinese Language in Science and Engineering) and basic subjects (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry). Candidates will take the examination according to their major. Please refer to Attachment 1 and Attachment 2 for Major and Category Corresponding Table and Examination Subject List for Candidates.

3. Examination Arrangement

(1) Examination Registration Deadline

May 5, 2024, 23:59 (Beijing Time)

(2) Examination Format and Location

The examination will be conducted in two forms:  Home-based Online Examination and Centralized Computer Examination.

For overseas students, the examination should be conducted in the form of a Home-based Online Examination.

For students already in China, the examination will be conducted in the form of a Centralized Computer Examination. Our university will organize students to take the examination in the university computer room. Please await further notice for the specific location. If students from other universities come to our university to take the exam, the university will not provide accommodation arrangements, and the relevant expenses are to be borne by the students themselves.

(4) Others

1) Candidates taking the Home-based Online Examination: Candidates must prepare at least one computer with a stable internet connection and a webcam for the online examination, as well as at least one device (mobile phone or tablet) for environmental monitoring (please refer to Attachment 3 for detailed requirements).

2) Candidates taking the Centralized Computer Examination: Our university will organize students to take the examination in the university computer room. Please await further notice for the specific location.

3) Professional Chinese subject examination includes a listening test. Candidates taking the Home-based Online Examination need to prepare headphones in advance; Candidates taking the Centralized Computer do not need to prepare headphones, as they will be provided by the university computer room.

Notes：

Undergraduate students who intend to apply for our university's undergraduate program (for admission in September 2024) must participate in the Academic Proficiency Examination for new undergraduate students studying in China. Otherwise they will not be eligible for admission.
