Research Center for Oil and Gas Safety Technology of State Administration of Work Safety
The Research Center for Oil and Gas Safety Technology (RCOGST) is a significant platform for the basic safety assurance technology research in the process of oil and gas production. RCOGST conducts the fundamental theoretical research on the key technology of disaster-causing mechanism, monitoring, prevention and control in dreadful accidents, such as blowout, leakage, fire and blast. Meanwhile, RCOGST carries out research on production accident investigation, equipment failure analysis technology, high-risk oil and gas production accident control technology and the accident risk assessment and integrity management method of oil and gas production process and equipment.
RCOGST consists of four research branches: safety engineering theory lab, security detection and fault diagnosis lab, safety assessment and risk management lab, accident investigation and failure analysis lab. The research center covers an area of 1098m2and has over twenty large scientific instruments.
Beijing Key Laboratory of Urban Oil and Gas Distribution Technology
Beijing Key Laboratory of Urban Oil and Gas Distribution Technology (BKLUOGDT) provides technology support to operate the oil and gas distribution facilities safely, economically and environmentally friendly in Beijing and offers consultation service for government’s decision making.
BKLUOGDT has set up five research directions: urban fuel gas distribution and supply security technology, security detection and prevention technology of urban oil and gas distribution facilities, petroleum products distribution technology, oil and gas storage technology, energy conservation and safety technology of fluid transportation pipelines.
