Bachelor of Finance Management with specialization in energy finance, and got the privilege to enter the postgraduate program with exemption from the admission test in 2006.

Master of Management Science with specialization in oil resource management and production forecasting, and got the privilege to enter the doctoral program with exemption from the admission test in 2008.
Sep.2008 to Jun.2011: China University of Petroleum, Beijing
Ph.D. of Petroleum Economics and Management with specialization in modeling of input-output analysis and system dynamics in oil related issues.
Research
Dr. Xu Tang is an Associate Professor at China University of Petroleum, Beijing, with research interest in energy-environment-economic systems analysis, oil industry and economic analysis, supply modelling of fossil energy and its economic impacts. Dr. Tang has published more than 30 peer-reviewed articles in recent years. Tang had been a visiting scholar in Canadian Energy Research Institute (Oct.2009- Oct.2010), Uppsala University (Jun.2013-Sep.2013). He has been awarded as the Excellent Doctoral Dissertation in Beijing, Excellent Graduate in Beijing, Outstanding Young Scholars in China University of Petroleum, Beijing.
