POSTGRADUATES ENROLLMENT INTERVIEW SCHEDULE (Friday 4th of June, 2021)---College of Petroleum Engineering

Postgraduate applicants,

We thank you for your interest in China University of Petroleum, Beijing. We shall be holding online interviews for Msc & Ph.D  applicants who have passed the preliminary review according to the schedule below on Friday 4th June, 2021.On 4th June 2021, we shall be holding interviews for applicants to the College of Petroleum Engineering, Interview dates for other colleges and departments will be announced in due course.

The Interview list is posted below and PLEASE NOTE ALL TIME INDICATED IS BEIJING TIME (GMT +8).

How the interviews will be conducted:

INTERVIEWS WILL BE CONDUCTED USING ZOOM AND THE MEETING ID AND PASSWORD HAS BEEN SENT TO YOUR REGISTERED EMAIL.

You should check the spam/Junk folder in case you do not see the email in your Inbox.

 

Applicants should download the zoom application on their computer or smart phone and test their devices at least a day in advance to be certain they are able to be used for the interview. Students should join the meeting and patiently wait in the zoom waiting room until it’s their turn to be interviewed.

 

Points to note:

i) Each applicant will be given around 5 minutes interview time.

ii) 1 minute for self-introduction

iii) 4 minutes to answer questions from the interview Panel.

iv) The language of the interview depends on the program that applicants applied for.

v) The interview will be conducted in the order of the list, applicants should wait patiently in the zoom waiting room as each interview will take about 5 minutes and therefore students should know the approximate time of their turn according to the order of the list above.

vi) If the applicant cannot be reached within three minutes from when they are supposed to be interviewed, we will proceed to the next applicant.

vii) Applicants should keep time and look for a quiet place with a good network signal free from interruptions in advance to avoid wastage of their interview time.

viii) Appropriate dress code is expected of all applicants as the interview is part of a series of factors to be considered while making the admission and scholarship decisions.
