A Letter to All Students (Including Students from Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan) f

Dear students,

 

The winter break has come to an end, and the second semester of the 2018-2019 academic year will begin soon. In view of the problems related to the beginning of term and the new term, we hereby inform you as follows:

 

1.       Opening time: February 25, 2019.

 

2.       Return to school registration: all students are required to return to school before February 24. Failure to do so will affect your attendance rate and your living expenses. If you cannot return to school on time due to force majeure or other special reasons, please contact the teacher in the office in advance and issue a written application and supporting documents.

 

 

3.       Registration: please come to office 207 to register and seal this semester during working hours from February 25th to February 28th with your student id and passport.

Notes:

1)       If you have not paid part of the tuition fee, please pay the tuition fee before registration.


2)       To check the visa information of students, please bring your passport and student card for registration.


3)       Undergraduates who cannot return to school on time due to illness or other reasons should contact the College of International Education for leave in advance, and submit the leave application form to the student management office of the College of International Education for record after the approval of the College of International Education; Master and doctoral students should first contact your supervisor for leave, and submit the leave application form to the student management office of the College of International Education for record after the supervisor's approval.


4)       Students who apply for resumption of study shall first go through the procedures for resumption of study, and then apply for registration with your student card after making up the tuition fees.


5)       Students who fail to register two weeks after the deadline will be automatically expelled from school.

 

4. Educational Administration:

 

1) Undergraduates please log in the integrated educational administration system to view their class schedules and arrange classes according to the schedule. If you need to retake courses, please do so on the integrated educational administration system before February 28th. If you have any special circumstances, please contact office 207. For the class of 2015, please keep in touch with your supervisor according to the arrangement of graduation thesis and graduation design, and finish all the work of graduation on time.

 

2) For master and doctoral students, please complete the study and research tasks according to the teaching arrangement and the tutor's arrangement.

 

5. Academic atmosphere construction:

 

Last semester, the College of International Education conducted several inspections on the attendance, classroom discipline and examination discipline of each grade, and dealt with some students with poor attendance, poor classroom performance and violation of examination discipline. This semester, the College of International Education will continue to attach great importance to the construction of study style, strengthen the classroom attendance, examination patrol and examination papers' check after examinations, help everyone develop good study habits, promote the formation of good academic atmosphere.

 

6. Other problems

 

This semester, the College of International Education will continue to improve the daily management work, focus on inspection and prevention of the violation of apartment management regulations, the violation of safe electricity regulations, the violation of smoking control regulations, illegal employment, drug related crimes, terrorism related crimes and other issues.
