Dean’s Message
Throughout world energy history, a global and forward-looking energy strategy is key to the rise of a great power and to its participation in world competition. Energy is also the mainstay of a country’s industrialization and urbanization; hence China’s peaceful rise entails the formulation of a scientific and comprehensive national energy strategy. Moreover, there is still a long way to go before China’s energy development is geared to the level of its international counterparts, whether in systematic, fundamental and prospective research or in the establishment of a new discipline of studies. In order to carry out and further fundamental research on major issues in the field of soft energy science, we feel it is both urgent and necessary to establish an entity by fully utilizing CUPB’s strengths in energy science.
In this background, we settled down our three orientations, which are:
- Research platform for fundamental theory of soft energy science
- Consultancy center for energy strategy and policy
- Training base for advanced energy talents
There are kinds of experts in energy field gathering here. We strongly welcome global talents to join us, for accelerating industry development and construction!
