[1] Oil and gas well mechanics and control engineering: oil and gas well engineering theory and technology, petroleum tool development, petroleum engineering application software research and development.


[2] Offshore oil and gas engineering: offshore drilling and completion engineering, mechanical characteristics and safety reliability of offshore oil structures such as oil platforms, oil structural pipes, underwater wellheads, etc., as well as prediction of shallow geological disasters on the seabed

Publications

[1] The key technology and industrial application of offshore drilling riser is mainly for the design and construction of offshore drilling riser into the mud depth design and construction problems, after 10 years of research, in the principle method, depth design, construction monitoring, key products 4 aspects of major technological breakthroughs, the results have been successfully applied in China's waters and overseas 58 oil and gas fields, more than 2300 wells, the accident rate is zero, economic benefits of 5.141 billion yuan, breaking the foreign deepwater technology monopoly, in the international leading position.

[2] The prediction accuracy of key technologies for safe operation of shallow offshore drilling engineering is more than 90% (API accuracy is 70%), and the construction is smooth and accident-free in more than 2,100 wells in application, saving 4.385 billion yuan in direct costs; it fills the gap in China's engineering technology in the field of safe operation engineering technology of shallow offshore drilling, breaks the foreign technology monopoly and restrictions, promotes the progress of China's research and engineering technology in this field, and generally reaches the international advanced level.
