Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering(Oil-Gas Well Drilling Engineering)

Research Areas

Oil and Gas Well Mechanics and Control Engineering
Oil and Gas Well Rock Mechanics and Engineering

Research Group Introduction

Our team focuses on solving various geomechanics-related issues in the oil and gas industry, including wellbore stability, lost circulation, well integrity, sand production, hydraulic fracturing, etc.
Our methodology combines theoretical analysis, numerical simulation, laboratory experiments, and the emerging artificial intelligence technology.
